Our Golden Retrievers at La Tribu
Sociable, generous and people-oriented, the Golden Retriever can be a wonderful family companion. Its size, enthusiasm and need for shared activity deserve careful preparation.
Our dogs share our daily lives in Saint-Urbain. We plan pairings with health, temperament, pedigree and complementary qualities in mind. Puppies grow close to us, with everyday care, observation and gradual socialisation.
Health and transparency
Ask for the parents' official hip and elbow results, eye examinations and relevant DNA tests, including retinal conditions and ichthyosis. Evaluate records alongside temperament, family history and diversity.
Individual records publish the information available for each dog. We can discuss the original reports with you before any reservation.
Prepare for a new family member
Tell us about your household, daily routine and expectations. We take time to discuss temperament and availability, share updates as the puppy grows and prepare the move together. Visits are by appointment, and support continues after adoption.
LOF pedigrees and enquiries from abroad
Our home is in Saint-Urbain, in western France. LOF is the French pedigree studbook maintained by the Centrale Canine; it documents origins and is separate from health screening.
If you live outside France, tell us your country and household before planning a journey. We can discuss the individual litter, available records and your questions about the visit.
