Our everyday feeding approach at La Tribu des Airaudes: adapting food, texture and portions to age, activity, digestion and individual needs.
An approach suited to each dog
Our published feeding approach combines a regular food base, wet foods, small rewards and carefully balanced home-prepared meals. A growing puppy, a nursing mother and a less active adult have different needs. We adapt quantities, texture and nutritional density.
We observe appetite, digestion, body condition and growth. At departure, we explain your puppy's current food and routine so any later transition can be gradual.
Our everyday choices
- Arquivet foods as a practical, regular base selected for the dog's age and needs
- Puppy wet foods during changes in feeding and periods of greater demand
- Small creamy treats for positive handling and learning
- Home-prepared meals with carefully considered supplementation
Home-prepared does not mean improvised
Fresh food needs a coherent recipe and appropriate supplementation. Taurine, oils and other additions must be considered as part of the whole diet. The aim is to meet the dog's needs, rather than simply add more ingredients.
